I initially drew this abomination in high school during a creative writing class (yes, I was drawing during a creative writing class). This little fellow was an illustration to a poem that was intended to be a parody of The Cat Came Back. A mate and I were talking about this and I eventually settled on this... thing. The poem itself went through a few forms, from a series of haiku to something more free form.The creative writing teacher I had hated it (He generally hated most of the things I do.) A separate friend, a couple of years later, showed it to her creative writing professor, who quite liked it. She said he called it "creative genius" but I am pretty confident she was just being nice. The kitty would have liked her.
